Ashleigh A. Cashman, President and Chief Underwriting Officer

Ms. Cashman has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to her role as President and Chief Underwriting Officer, Ms. Cashman was a Senior Vice President and served in various leadership roles within the Underwriting department. Ashleigh has additionally been responsible for the development of underwriting capital at ICAT for over half of her career. Before joining ICAT, Ms. Cashman was a securities analyst for a portfolio management company where her responsibilities included creating and monitoring equity portfolios and analyzing potential investment opportunities.

Ms. Cashman is responsible for the strategic direction of ICAT, and for the underwriting results of all ICAT’s business units which includes: CAT focused (Small Commercial, ICAT Online Commercial and Residential), and Nationwide Middle Market Property.  She also remains central to the development and management of ICAT’s underwriting capacity.

Ms. Cashman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a major in financial management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly hiking with her two dogs. She also has a passion for traveling and exploring the world.
