Craig Nechvatal, Senior Vice President

Mr. Nechvatal has over 25 years of insurance and management experience. Prior to joining ICAT, Mr. Nechvatal was a Product Manager within Sentry Insurance Company’s Non-Standard Auto Division. There he was responsible for the design of the company’s products as well as Profit and Loss responsibilities for California, Oregon and Washington.

Mr. Nechvatal has a Bachelor of Science degree in both Actuarial Science and Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Wisconsin.

During his tenure at ICAT, Mr. Nechvatal has been responsible for ICAT’s overall aggregate management, leadership of the Product Management team, underwriting quality, profit and loss and premium growth for all of ICAT’s hurricane-exposed states and leadership of ICAT’s online commercial platform.  Currently he is responsible for ICAT’s overall management of its catastrophe capacity, business planning and reporting and the key manager of its relationship with the Beat and Victor syndicates within Lloyd’s of London.
