Here at ICAT, Volunteering is a Work of Heart!

At ICAT, our core values are Passion, Integrity, Community, Teamwork and Vision. Helping our community lets us touch on all five of these values while making an impact. Over the past few months, we have had the opportunity to volunteer with some fantastic organizations.

Check out what we have been up to!

One Hour of Volunteering = 60 Meals!

Our team headed out to Community Food Share, a food bank dedicated to fighting hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Here we put together meals for families in need. According to Community Food Share, one hour of volunteering provides 60 meals! Are you interested in helping out? Check out their website!

Backpacks & More!

A Precious Child assists families and children facing life challenges throughout the Denver Metro counties. The team helped in the warehouse by triaging incoming donations to meet quality standards and organized items for display. ICAT also ran a Fill a Backpack Drive to support those affected by the Marshall Fires, and 25 backpacks were filled and donated! A Precious Child has many volunteer opportunities, including virtual volunteering!

Park Clean-up!

The weather has been gorgeous in Colorado, setting the perfect day for a park clean-up! Our ICAT crew spent the day ensuring the parks in Denver are beautiful and clean for all to enjoy!

Closet Clean-Out for a Great Cause!

Our ICAT team partnered with the Victor IDEA Community, a colleague-led, global group within Victor dedicated to driving inclusion and diversity in the workplace. We got busy cleaning out our closets and donated clothing to the Village at CLA. Business clothing was collected to help others get the step-up they need for interviews or a new job. For more information, please check out their site.

Always a Rewarding Day

The Denver Rescue Mission has been helping those in need for 130 years and is a repeat volunteer stop for ICAT. Here we have the opportunity to prepare and serve meals while connecting with our community. The impact of the Denver Rescue Mission is vast, and we are excited for our next opportunity to help out in November. Check out their volunteer opportunities.

A Beautiful Day with the Butterflies!

The Butterfly Pavilion, located in Westminster, CO, was a perfect place to volunteer. Our team spent the day working with the horticulture team doing facility maintenance to keep the location beautiful. The Butterfly Pavilion’s mission is to educate and change people’s feelings about invertebrates. Make sure you visit this one-of-a-kind invertebrate zoo before they move to their new expanded location in Broomfield in 2024!

ICAT’s goal is to reach 400 volunteer hours in 2022, and we’re well on our way. Check back often for updates on how ICAT continues to give back!
