ICAT Launches New Digital Innovations to Enhance Engagement with Agents and Policyholders

New Platform and Mobile App Part of Client-First Approach to Providing Residential Catastrophe Insurance

Broomfield, CO | October 30, 2019 – ICAT, a highly specialized, digital-based underwriter and producer of U.S. catastrophe insurance and a Victor company, announced today new digital innovations for easier engagement with residential agents and policyholders in California and Hawaii.

The newly enhanced ICAT Online platform migrates ICAT’s existing residential Hawaii hurricane and California earthquake insurance programs into one, streamlined platform, where agents can quickly obtain quotes, bind coverage, and generate policy documents. Integration with Google Maps makes it easy for agents to identify home and landscape features to complete quotes for their insureds within minutes.

In addition, a new “My ICAT” mobile app provides insured homeowners in Hawaii access to valuable, time-saving tools in the event of a hurricane. Available free to download on iOS and Android mobile devices, My ICAT allows policyholders, among other things, to file claims and check status; contact their agent; complete self-service property inspections; and receive timely and informative updates and information from ICAT’s hurricane experts.

“With today’s technology, we can streamline and simplify the residential catastrophe insurance purchasing process and provide more convenience to our clients,” said Gregory Butler, CEO, ICAT. “ICAT Online and My ICAT exemplify our client-first approach to providing market-leading catastrophe insurance and enhancing engagement with our agents and policyholders.”
