Who is ICAT?

Commercial Appointments
All of our commercial products and services are written on an Excess & Surplus Lines basis through wholesale brokers and retail agents. To be an appointed commercial lines producer with ICAT we require:
An active Excess & Surplus Lines license in your state of domicile
An active Excess & Surplus Lines license in the state(s) where your company would like to be appointed
If you are a wholesaler, the ability to file surplus lines fees and taxes
If your organization meets the above criteria, we are happy to consider an appointment with you. In the event you do not meet these requirements, we can recommend other avenues to access our products and services.

Residential Appointments
The ICAT Homeowners product is offered through ICAT Online. Accounts are underwritten on behalf of AM Best A-rated Victor Insurance Exchange. This flexible solution provides many of the same features clients are accustomed to in the admitted market, while sophisticated underwriting and risk management allow us to offer consistent, stable capacity.
