Self-Service Inspection for Homeowners

ICAT is pleased to announce Self-Service inspections for homeowners policies. This will allow insureds to complete their inspections without an inspector coming to their home.

What to Expect from your Residential Inspection

ICAT is excited to introduce Self-Service Inspections for homeowner policies. This new feature allows insureds to complete their inspections through a web link, eliminating the need for an inspector to visit their home—no appointment is necessary—saving them time.

Self-Service Inspection Details:

  • Convenient Access: Insureds will receive email/text links to our self-service inspection platform, eSurvey.
  • No App Needed: There's no need to download any apps—everything can be done through the weblink.
  • Opt-Out Option: Insureds can opt-out and have a traditional inspection instead. An opt-out button is conveniently located at the bottom of every eSurvey page. Once the insured opts out, a traditional inspection will automatically be ordered.
  • Automatic Ordering: If insureds do not respond within 10 days, a traditional inspection will be automatically ordered on the 11th day.
  • Guided Process: The weblink will walk the insured through the process step-by-step.
