Mike Krell, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Krell brings over 26 years of technology experience to his role. His expertise includes leadership in software development and delivery, infrastructure management, customer service and support, and delivering solutions to solve customer needs. Mike began his career in the Data Storage Sector, supporting and developing software solutions for backup/recovery and management applications for Storage Area Networks (SAN).

Mr. Krell joined ICAT in 2005 as a software engineer. During his tenure at ICAT, Mike partnered with key stakeholders to deliver new quoting and policy management systems to gain efficiency in the overall policy lifecycle. In addition, Mike helped design and deploy a service-oriented architecture to allow critical systems to share data and provide standard functionality across all systems.

Mr. Krell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Montana State University in Billings, Montana.
Mike became CTO in 2019 and has accountability over the delivery of all technology solutions for the ICAT business, including adherence to information security requirements for its parent company.
